`Costly Chaos - Defined` A depressing dark tale of love, hatred and revenge. And it all happens so fast! First, please note that "some stuff is missing". I took out a whole part explaining that the 'narrator' and his 'significant other' meeting, him falling in love with her, and the bits and pieces that lead you to understand that the female party is quite "free" even when she is settled down. If you get my meaning. Second, why I did it. One, building the characters takes too long, and in a poem it's unnecessary. Two, I didn't want for a person to sympathize with an "evil" character. (since the main one rapes and kills his wife) Anyway. To explain in general now. This is another sordid, dark poem of mine. An interesting love and lost tale, so to speak. In any account, it seems like a man is having problems with his overly "active" spouse. And one day he snaps, overcome with the hatred for a love now lost in shadows, and decides he will no longer stand for her 'spreading her love all over and coming home with none for him'. In my most darkest account, the narrator rapes and tortures his unloving spose to death. Others may see it differently. Anyways, he is then sent to the "gallows" (I decided to use a gallows reference rather than something more modern, because the hangman's noose is alot more defined and foreboding than something like he waited on trial a few years and then was given lethal injection) Again anyway... as they slip the possibly figurative noose around his neck he confesses to his crime. And of course he is hoping that with his final words he will not be judged so swiftly. And here again, he says that she's the one to blame for driving him insane. Quite interesting, yes? I hope you enjoyed reading it. As always thanks for taking the time to read these. Hope you will do so again in the future. -Darque-
